Welcome to Power Your Curls, our hopeful venture where we try to offer quality products at a reasonable price for our customers in and across UAE and hopefully other countries in the GCC. We started from humble beginnings, with a small cosmetics store selling beauty and health and wellness products across different platforms in UAE. Over time we noticed that while sales increased, but so did the vendor commissions. It was getting harder and harder to provide good products to customers at reasonable prices. This is where we decided to make a change, instead of supporting vendor platforms, we’d try to strike it out on our own. We’re a real company, we’re based in Sharjah, and if you ask us nicely, we’ll probably give you a small tour of our store, and maybe even offer you some karak while you wait for your goods.
In most cases, we’ll probably never meet, but we’ll try our best to send our goods out to you as soon as possible.

That’s why we try to help out as much as we can, and try to offer consultations and quizzes to help people navigate their needs. We do this to ensure that you receive the best care for your specific curl type.
- Ease of Use: We believe that taking care of your curls should be simple. Our products are user-friendly and designed to seamlessly integrate into your daily routine. We try to include as much information about the products on our pages, including steps, ingredients, and any other attributes that we deem necessary. If you see something that you think we should have, contact us, and we’ll try to include it. If you think we’ve got wrong information on our site, get in touch and we’ll try to fix it.
- Community: Power Your Curls is not just a brand name to us, it’s a measure of how we want to help our customers. We try to offer our employees liveable wages, time off, and try to help the environment by reusing packaging materials, and combining multiple deliveries to lower our carbon footprint across the UAE. Additionally, we try to offer great pricing so that people don’t feel the burn of using a great product but missing a sale on another platform by a few dirhams. If you see pricing that’s different on other stores, get in touch, we’ll try to match it.

We trade under the company of Al Aseel Cosmetics, which was established in 2013. You can take a look at our license shown below and our location map is shown here as well as on our contact us page. We’re still at the same store in Al Nabaa, and hopefully we’ll continue to be here. Our team consists of Aashish, Hamdan, Faisal, Gwenda, Tamim and Kiran. In addition, we have Shafiq and Shakeel who handle the deliveries and the warehouse respectively. We all try to pitch in to create a great working environment and help each other when possible.
